Meet Dr. Josh Papineau “Pappy”
Background and Education
Dr. Pappy was raised and went to grade school at Brandon township in Ortonville, Michigan. After Graduation from Brandon, he went to Oakland Community College for two years where he received his associates in science while he trained to play football at Western Michigan University.
At Western he had a short-lived football career but stayed to complete his Bachelors in exercise science. From there he went down to South Carolina where he attended school at Sherman College of chiropractic where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
The Road to Chiropractic
Dr. Pappy has been going to a chiropractor since he was three years old for allergies and then for sports injuries when he was older. When he was asked in high school what he wanted to be when he grew up, he said, “the only thing that I could think of that would keep me interested in school was the human body, so I decided to become a chiropractor.”
After that his path was set. Now when asked what chiropractic is and why does he do it he says that it is a vessel that he can use to help people achieve their goals in life, whether they be to simply be pain free when they move or to make it to be a pro athlete. Chiropractic can help get them there and he loves to see people progress and achieve what they set out to do.

Outside of the Office
When he’s not helping patients at Warnars Chiropractic Clinic, you can find Dr. Pappy at the gym lifting weights still trying meet some of his own personal lifting goals. As well as with his family and friends, Dr. Pappy is one of ten children so with all his siblings and nieces and nephews, he always has something going on.
He also has taken to reacquainting himself with the area, his father used to live in lovely Imlay city, so Dr. Pappy is familiar with the area but has been gone for many years. He says trying the new restaurants and visiting some of the new or updated stores and hangouts has been one of his favorite parts of the job.
